Shoutouts on the TV. You choose which ones.
People already have phones, and you already have a screen. DJIVE connects them inside VirtualDJ without writing a website on the wall. They join the venue Wi-Fi, scan, and send. You approve from the booth.
How a post gets on the wall
- QR on the overlay Join the venue Wi-Fi, then scan. Short lines fade through shoutouts, requests, photos, votes, and tips.
- They send from the phone Live, Message, Requests, and Tip the DJ. No app to install. A shoutout, a photo, a music request, or karaoke. On Pro you can put a photo and some words behind that page from Settings, Brand.
- You approve The booth is inside VirtualDJ, or you can open the same page on a laptop. Approve and show, refuse, or block that phone.
- Big card, then the chat The post is large first. If a card is already up, it waits. Then it moves into its own row. Venue and DJ posts jump the queue.
The address stays off the TV
They scan the QR. On the normal setup they use the venue Wi-Fi. On Online, the QR is a DJive.co.uk link, which is what you want when the venue Wi-Fi blocks your computer. Either way the address isn’t written on the screen.
A manager can still post venue notices. They use a small Venue login on the phone and tonight’s 5-digit PIN from under the booth usage bar. Notices jump to next on the big card. The PIN is not on the QR.
Requests from your library
It isn’t a free-for-all. People search whatever VirtualDJ has loaded, on this PC and on a drive you’ve plugged in. Remixes of the same track stack so you can see the count. Mark Played or Refuse without clearing the list.
